Watershed

A physical theatre duet that uses the story of a couple who can only meet in their dreams to highlight some of the confounding relations men and women. Video projections form an integral part of the work which is set on a pile of mattresses. The bed which is de/re/constructed throughout the piece, is also a projection site.

Watershed was presented by ID339 Dancegroup and has been performed in Perth (the Artrage Festival 1998) and Melbourne (Bodyworks season at Dancehouse).

Choreography
A collaboration between performers Bill Handley and Sue Peacock, and the video artist Graeme Macleod

Technical
Lighting design by Graeme Macleod and Jeremy Nottle

The work runs for 40 minutes, the set consists of three, queen-size mattresses and the performance is suitable for both the general public and high school students
